Our name comes from the 1202 program alarm that nearly derailed the Apollo 11 Moon landing. As Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were descending, their computer threw up a 1202 alarm—basically, it was overloaded and freaking out. With seconds to spare, NASA engineers figured out it wasn’t critical and told them to keep going. The result? They landed on the Moon. That’s why we’ve got a space theme—it all ties back to that incredible moment when humans first set foot on the Moon.
